		<description>&lt;p&gt;I couldn&#039;t agree more.   And, although this might be counter-intuitive for some folks, the more experimental the project, the more important to put it into some form of source control.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have ended up going back to code a couple years later and adopting an &quot;inefficient&quot; algorithm that I had originally optimized out because the underlying systems had become so much more efficient that it was actually faster than my customized hand-tweaked algorithm&lt;/p&gt;
